MIDAS - Model and Inference-driven - automated testing of service architectures

Focus: Implementing an integrated framework for the automation and intelligent management of service oriented architecture testing. The framework is available as a Platform as a Service solution on a cloud infrastructure. It supports main testing domains (functional, interactional, fault tolerance, security and usage-based testing). MIDAS will advance the state of the art in areas such as model-based testing, model checking of choreographies for sound interaction test scenarios, fuzzing for security testing, usage-based testing, probabilistic inference reasoning about test evaluation and scheduling.

Impact: Estimating the optimisation of current maintenance and management costs. Enabling providers to deliver their SOA production environment with integrated service test facilities.
